WRINKLE-RELAXING TREATMENTS

BOTOX®, Bocouture® and Azzalure® are brand names of Botulinum Toxin type A. This is a prescription medication that is only administered following a face-to-face consultation with a qualified practitioner. It is used to temporarily relax muscle and therefore has a variety of medical applications. The use of Botulinum Toxin injections in medical aesthetics is mainly for the temporary improvement of dynamic facial lines (wrinkles that develop with facial expressions).

DERMAL FILLERS

These come in different varieties, the most popular are composed of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is the naturally occuring substance that exists in the extracellular matrix of tissues (in the space between cells). As an injectable treatment that adds volume, support and/or hydration, HA fillers are used to correct age-related volume loss, treat discrepancies or enhance and beautify facial features. The aim is to bring harmony to the face; the approach relies on a firm understanding of facial anatomy and the aesthetic principles of proportion. All our procedures are Doctor-led, with safety and education as a top priority. Areas we can address:

Dr. Abbas is Save Face accredited, runs the weekly aesthetics clinic and is very enthusiastic about promoting safety and education in the field. He has an interest in the science of ageing and likes to approach aesthetic concerns scientifically and objectively.
